Covid 19 Information

Policy, including cancellation, updated 13th February, 2022

Under current government directions we are now able to accept guests without restrictions.

There is a requirement that our guests are fully vaccinated in order to stay at Omeo Views.  All of our staff are mandated and are fully vaccinated. 

Guest cannot allow unvaccinated people to visit during there stay, this include outside service providers.  If you contract these services during your stay you must ensure they are fully vaccinated.  

Cancellation Policy Covid-19

Should you not be able to come due to a broad Government lockdown in an area where you are, you can:

  1. Change dates for free
  2. Get a full refund minus a $50 administration cost (to partly cover some of the costs we incur).  

 

** PLEASE NOTE This is only applicable to bookings made direct with us not third party booking (e.g. AirBNB, Booking.com) that have their own stricter policies. If we request you must supply official documents, texts or DHHS orders or anything else that we feel will satisfy our policy. 

If you, or a close household contact contracts Covid19 less than 14 days before your stay, and you have been told by DHHS to self isolate, and you notify us soon as you are aware, you will be liable for the cost of the first night of your stay, (as well as and booking extras ordered if we are notified less than 48 hours prior to your stay). We will refund all other monies, on the understanding that we receive official documents, or DHHS orders in writing or anything else that we feel will satisfy our policy, (more than a copy of a text).   

Please note there are now multiple and cheap online policies for travel insurance that cover your stay in the event of household contacts catching Covid19.   

As a guest of Omeo Views, you have an obligation to advise us of any change in your health pertinent to COVID-19. prior to, during and in the days after your stay. Early notification to us will help with contact tracing and stop the spread of COVID-19.

Our priority at this time is to ensure the safety and health of our staff, housekeepers, all contractors and especially you, our guests.

Our small team of carers are acutely aware of the current requirements of The Chief Health Officer and are undertaking measures and procedures to ensure that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained here at the office as well as at the property.

CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN

Omeo Views offers contactless check-in utilising a self-check-in process by issuing a secure pin code for entry.

Disinfecting all surfaces, including door handles, faucets, appliances, light switches, TV remotes, kitchen surfaces, bedside tables, keys, and more.

All bed linen is laundered to a hospital-grade standard.

Couches, beds and other soft furnishings are disinfected prior and post each stay using a spray formula.

YOUR COMMITMENT TO OUR AREA

A great benefit is that the region offers wide-open outdoor spaces enabling you to explore the area in peace and privacy, both outdoors and in the surrounds of your villa. As per government advice, individuals are all required to continue practicing social distancing. This means do not shake hands or exchange physical greetings, and wherever possible, stay at least 1.5 metres away from others.
